Biography

Dr. Ryan Benton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science within the School of Computing (SOC) at the University of South Alabama (USA). There, he is a member of the Center for Advanced Research in Forensic Science, as well as the Data Science Ensemble and the Digital Forensics Information Intelligence research groups. Before joining USA, Dr. Benton worked as a Research Scientist at UL Lafayette and Director of Research at Star Software Systems Corporation. He conducts research, both fundamental and applied, within machine learning, data mining, big data and digital forensics.
